Thank you for your help. I appreciate it so much. Hopefully I can get to
this later today and see if I can get this situation remedied!

Office programs that have a Voodoo3 driver installed stop responding (hang) and you
receive error messages
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;300912

Here again you will have to go to NVIDIA to see if they have an updated driver.

Most times when you are asked to insert your setup disk, Office is trying to repair
something.

I can still print single copies if I just click on the printer icon, but if
I click on file, and try to select certain pages to print, or print more than
one copy, I get the error message.
When I try to print a word document, I can print a single copy by clicking
on the printer icon, but again, if I click on the file button, it just
freezes up and won't do anything.
The other weird thing is that now when I go to open anything in Publisher, I
have to put the Disc in. I'm not sure what's going on!

It's me again....I went to the voodoo website, but I wasn't sure which driver
I need. And the version of publisher I am using is in office 2000. All the
programs listed on the support.microsoft site were 2002 or higher. Now what?
I'm sorry to be such a computer dummy!

Nah, you're not a computer dummy, you're just a dummy. You must have been
living in a cave for the past six years if you don't know that 3Dfx filed
Chapter 11 before the commencement of this millennium. If your graphics card
is six years old (at least) I dread to think how old the rest is! and how
it's managing to run (fairly) modern software Do yourself a favour and
replace it - preferably with something that isn't an IBM clone.

What is your video card called exactly? It will be in the system folder in the
control panel.

No, I just like to see if I can get a rise out of you, Mary. It's getting
boring now, though - it's too damned easy!

If you don't like my posts you know what you can do...

(still wondering how Mary was ever awarded. Most of her 'advice' is quoting
completely irrelevant KB articles.)

I don't know what to look for......I didn't see anything that might indicate
it was the video card. I will be out the rest of the day, so I won't be able
to even work on this today. But I do appreciate your help and patience. You
have been helpful, inspite of what some people might think.
I hope to get back to this tomorrow.

You know, Mary, that's what I think about most of your posts. You're not even
a Publisher MVP - what's your 'field'? Oh yes - clipart! Looks like MS felt
sorry for you for some bizarre reason and felt they had to create a category
just for you. I mean clipart, for Hades sake, what the hell kind of a topic
is that? Publisher 2003 doesn't even *have* any clipart - it's all online and
if it's not accessible then it's a server issue. It's a non-award really....
