Troubleshoot linking Outlook to Access
I would like to use a shared contact folder or Public contact folder as a
link to an Access database. I am getting some odd results. When I add a contact from the database it appears in the Outlook contact folder as an email message. When you try and open it it launches an email window. There also appears that different fields are available depending on if a public folder or shared contact or address book is linked. Is there a better way to do this? The goal is to maintain the main contact information address/phone/email in either Outlook or the Access database. Any suggestions are appreciated. -- Dar |

Troubleshoot linking Outlook to Access
In order to use Outlook from Access, you need to be very familiar with the
Outlook object model. Check the reference for the Outlook library and then use the Object browser. It sounds like you added the wrong type of object to the Outlook contact list. -- Dorian "Give someone a fish and they eat for a day; teach someone to fish and they eat for a lifetime".
