Default From a report record to the specific record in a form

Hello

I would like to creat a report which shows various records. I would
like the user to be able to see the report and then be able to click
on a specific record in that report to open up that record in a form
for editing.
Is this possible? Right now, the users have to take note of the item
ID in the report, then close the report, open the form and navigate to
that specific record. Is there any way to automate this?
Thanks

This is the function of a form...not a report. You can
use the "Filter By Form" functionality in Access to
locate the record that you want to edit using the form
that you currently have.
