How to drag wav files when copying pps between computers
I copied a Powerpoint presentation from my desktop to laptop, for display
purpose, and had to reassign paths for each wav file, so that music was available to play on the laptop. How can l link the music to the ppt or pps presentation? Help would be much appreciated. -- RB |

How to drag wav files when copying pps between computers
Hi Ronald,
If the music is in wav format, you can embed the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor. By doing so, the music will be embedded into the presentation (preventing the link from breaking) and you do not have to email the music. Alternately for non-wav format, Create a new folder and move the ppt and music into the folder. Now, open the ppt file, delete and reinsert the music to create a pathless link. Then, save your presentation. Email both the presentation and music.
