Default Displaying BLOB data in Access

In my database, I have a link to an external SQL table, which contains
BLOB data. When I open this table in Access, there is a field named BLOB
and the contents of every single record is "OLE object" (without the
quotes). Is there any plug-in or some way to have Access display the
actual contents of that field?
For what it's worth, I downloaded a trial version of DB Blob Editor,
which works, but that doesn't help as far as getting the info available
in Access.
Thanks,
Darrell
