Default automated find and replace of area codes in outlook

I want to search throughh all my Outlook address entries for an area code of
"0171" and change them all to "+44 207". I have several hundred numbers to
change and have lost interest while I'm still in the "A's"! Thanks.

I've done this in the past by exporting my contacts to a database or
excel file, doing a find/replace, and then importing the contacts back
into a new contacts folder.

One problem you may run into relates to the Notes field. If you have a
lot of data in there, it doesn't always survive the export/import - I'm
not sure what the length limit is. Also, any numbers that start with
"0" need to be double-checked if using excel to be sure the leading
zero wasn't deleted.
