Typing
When typing a document if I go back to a previous piece of text ive written
and try to add more letters the new letters I type erase the type which is already there and dont tab the old words along!! Is there a setting I can turn off to stop this??? |

Look at the status bar. You'll probably find that OVR displays in black,
in which case you have enabled Overtype mode.
