Outlook won't dowload email from server

recently changed my email address, but still use the same pop3 server to
download email to outlook. All of the sudden, Outlook won't download. My
server person can verify that I am logged in, but it just won't put the new
messages into the inbox (and doesn't delete them on the server, either).

This is rather strange, as nothing has changed except the first part of my
email address in front of the "@" sign.

Any ideas?
