This array formula** will return the 1st item from the range D215 when a
filter is applied.

=INDEX(D215,MATCH(1,SUBTOTAL(3,OFFSET(D215,,,R OW(D215)-ROW(D2)+1)),0))

** array formulas need to be entered using the key combination of
CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER). Hold down both the CTRL key and the SHIFT
key then hit ENTER.

Please provide more details.

Current description is not clear.

You want to filter a list for a value user has entered in a cell?

Advanced filter see Debra Dalgleish's site.
