Embedded files

I am trying to create a .ppt document with embedded
files. I have found that I can open the embedded file
when creating the slide, but not when running the slide
show. I am looking for a way to make the object available
when presenting the slide show. Thank you.

You need to make sure the files follow the correct path. For example if they are created from the C drive, you need to make sure the computer you are running it has the same files in the C drive in the correct path.

Right-click the embedded object and choose Action Settings.

There, set the object action to open on mouse click. Now it should actually open when you click on it in slide show view.
