Keeping the Pivot View from Access in Excel
I using the Pivot view to arrange my data nicely in
Access. The database is quite large, about 7,500 rows and about 10 columns. I want to keep this view exaclty in Excel so then I can manipulate the data, which is much easier for me. I've tried many different ways. One was to use the export command but that only takes me to construct another pivot table in Excel. When I try to sort the data the same way in Access, Excel give me counts of the data when I dropped the data in the data field. This is not what I want. I also tried to use the control A combination to copy the pivot table in Access. Because of the large amount of data, Access would froze on me. There must be an easy way. Its like copying a spreadsheet from Access to Excel. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Aloha. |
