Do you mean the link to Arno's website?

Please quote what rule on this newsgroup you are talking about.

Advertising/Solicitation:
"These communities were created as a forum for providing peer-to-peer
assistance on Microsoft products and services. We ask that you refrain from
posting advertisements or solicitations that do not pertain directly to the
intended use and purpose of the newsgroup or chat."

http://www.microsoft.com/wn3/locales...RulesofConduct

and, just so that you understand the intended use and purpose, keep reading:

"Microsoft created Microsoft public discussions covering many Microsoft
products, technologies, and topics because of the value of finding out what
your peers think and getting information from people who use the same
products and technologies you use. The Microsoft public discussions have been
available to anyone on Usenet for a number of years. Thousands of Microsoft
customers at all levels of expertise post in these groups today, creating the
content, sharing information and contributing ideas. There are currently over
2,000 public discussion groups dedicated to discussing Microsoft products."

forum for providing peer-to-peer assistance

The intended use and purpose of newsgroups is to provide help. That's
exactly what I offer!!!

.........that do not pertain directly to the intended use and purpose of
the newsgroup.........

My offers of help ALWAYS pertain directly to an Access application.

Why don't you go after the perveyors of watches, handbags, etc? They are
advertising products that have nothing at all to do with Access!!!

I guess you do not understand the word "refrain". There is nothing in that
statement that makes your abuse of the newsgroup permissable.

Stevie,

The intended use of this forum is not for commercial advertising.

My offers of help ALWAYS pertain directly to an Access application.

Yeah, for a price. What part of free don't you understand? You're making a
conscious choice to post blatant advertisements for your paid services,
without offering any useful help of any kind.
