custom styles not appearing
Hi =?Utf-8?B?UGFtZWxh?=,
If you're in the Styles and Formatting task pane, there's a list at the bottom. The last entry is "Custom". Go into this dialog box and see if you can find the styles in the list at the top. And are the checkboxes next to the style names checked or unchecked? I have created several custom styles and added them to the normal.dot but the styles do not appear in the style list. If I open a document that uses the style and then go to organizer to copy the style to the normal.dot, I am asked to overwrite the style. Why can't I see these custom styles. I have looked at custom styles, all styles, available styles, and styles in use. I cannot find my new styles. I am tried of recreating the style for every new document. That is why I always say to add to template. I have prompt for changes to Normal.dot selected so I can choose to save the changes to the normal. I have just installed office xp. I have been working in office 2000.
