Multi-computer upgrade
Home & Student lets you install one copy on up to three computers, used by
you or in your household and not commercially. There are other suites that allow you to install on two "devices", one desktop and one portable. My advice is to determine the suite that meets your requirements, and then check the license to see whether you have to buy a second copy or not.
