Default Format a manual to print a narrow column of flowing text on right

Format a manual to print a narrow column of flowing text on rt side of odd
pages and left on even, as in a book. The wide column on the left side of odd
numbered pages contains the main subject text and the narrow column on the
right side of odd numbered pages is for notes, but occassionally has typed
notes from the instructor. The text in both columns must flow automatically
to the opposite column on the next page. For example, text in the fat column
of page one, which is on the left, would need to flow to the fat column of
page two, which is on the right side.

This can't be done with newspaper-style columns or a table, but is possible
with frames. See http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/MarginalText.htm
