How do I keep my table columns from migrating?
When I try to move a table column boundary in Word 2000
(in a basic document as opposed to something for the Web), my machine will sometimes move additional column boundaries which I'd just as soon have STAY THE $^#&%* PUT (excuse my bellowing). Sometimes this will cause unsightly word-wrapping in a merged cell, not to mention uneven bracket widths. How do I keep the system from shifting borders I DON'T want shifted while shifting borders that I DO? Your prompt response via " will be DEEPLY appreciated. |
