Import and Apply to Distribution List
We imported email addresses with an excel spreadsheet. We then converted it
to a CSV file because it wouldn't go. It's all in now, name, company, category, and email address. The problem is...when we try to create a distribution list and we select the name from the member list, only a comma or, nothing appears. We are unable to add one of the imported names into a distribution list. Since we applied a category. Is it possible to send email by category? I am inquiring from a school district and we are trying to send out parent newsletters in grade groups (categories). Can anyone help us here? Thanks. |

Import and Apply to Distribution List
Sounds like you didn't import correctly:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 Categories are actually a better way to group Contacts than are DL's and you can use them in lieu of DL's: http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2003/20030730.htm -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Sprowler" wrote in message ...
