Default Double clicking on a time does not open the scheduling window

Hi all,

I have a peculiar problem, when double clicking on any given time to open
up the event scheduler, nothing happens. This is a new windows xp pro
install with office xp sp3. Anyone experienced this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks in advance and regards
