Photo Editor won't print
I have XP-SP2 installed along with Office 2003 and its Microsoft Picture
Manager. Picture Manager prints photos just fine but when I try to use the old Microsoft Photo Editor, with which I am very comfortable, it will not print either from the File/Print menu or the Printer icon. I get a message saying that the Photo Editor encountered a problem and has to end and then asking if I want to send an error report. I choose Yes, the report is sent and Photo Editor exits. When I try to print from the icon, I get a Save Window asking me where I want to save the picture rather than printing it to the default printer as usually occurs when the icon is used from other applications. The default save format is shown an Microsoft Imaging Format (MDI.) That seems strange to me. This is the first time I have tried to use Photo Editor since installing Office 2003. Is the some conflict? And what do I need to do to be able to print from the Photo Editor? Thank you very much. |
