Animation Effects
I have seen some presentations on PowerPoint where a person or picture moves
around the screen. How is this done? I have seen it where the image of a person will appear to be walking. How can I do this? |

For the "moving around," you want to right-click on the object and choose
Custom Animation. The effect you want to add is a "Motion Path" effect. For the walking, you probably saw an "animated GIF" coupled with a custom animation. The animated GIF probably does the walking in place, and the custom animation does (with a motion path or a fly-in effect) does the moving across the screen. Write back if you need more of an explanation and include what version of PowerPoint you are using (because details of animations are very different from version to version). --David -- David M.
