I want to import a pdf file as a graphic into Publisher. Does 2003 do this?

The only way I've been able to do this is to use the 'Snapshot Tool' in
Acrobat (don't think this is available with Reader) and paste it into your
Publisher file. Quality is lousy. If it's a text file OCR software will do
the trick. Neither of those options is good unless you have the software.

Our pdf2picture tool was designed specifically for this purpose. It is
a standalone Windows desktop tool ($59) that converts PDF pages to the
WMF file format. Vector graphics, raster images and font text are all
reproduced as such. You can import the WMF into Publisher via Insert
Picture From File... Vector drawings can be scaled and zoomed without
losing quality or sharpness. They will print at your printer's native
(maximum) resolution. You can even ungroup the image to edit individual
graphics elements and text strings. For information and a free trial
installation available at www.pdf2picture.com. The tool is also listed
in the Microsoft Office online help / marketplace.
