Default Creating a larger paper size

Hi,

I am trying to create a spreadsheet that will print on
11"X17" paper. I have MS Office 2000 on two different
computers and neither one offers this paper size option.
One version allows me to use "custom" paper sizes, but
won't allow me to go as large as I want. The other version
doesn't even offer a custom option.

How can I create this spreadsheet so that it will print on
this large size paper?

I would assume that is depending on the printer, not excel

The active printer has to support it.

Thanks,

The printer does support the paper size. That's what has
me frustrated.
