Fuzzy text on a .pdf insert
I have a .pdf file that prints a clear 6x8 image with text in the middle of
an 8-1/2 x 11" sheet. When I insert/object this same file to a page in a newsletter that I've built (using MS Publisher 2003) and print, the text is fuzzy. What do I need to do to make my inserted .pdf have the same clarity (resolution) as the original .pdf when I print it in MS Publisher 2003? |

Re-create the text in Publisher. You are inserting a picture not text.

That's right, it is a picture with text on it. More specifically,
it is an advertisement for a company that would like to place a full-page ad in my newsletter. They are sending over the proof as a .pdf for me to insert. I don't want to have to change their proof, I would like to just plop it into my Publisher file. I just figured out that I can use the 'Snapshot Tool' in adobe reader and then paste the image onto my page. Works well. "Mary Sauer" wrote: Re-create the text in Publisher. yep...pdf's do not insert as an object well. I always end up using Acrobat
to Save as an image file then using the image in Pub. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rob Giordano Microsoft MVP Expression "GregL" wrote in message ... That's right, it is a picture with text on it.
