Access Xp Slow when multi user connected??
Is your database split? Have you deployed a copy of the front-end to each
individual user? Also, what type of network are you using (10/100, gigabit, wirless - please say no, etc.) and what was the network performance like prior to using the database? -- Daniel Pineault http://www.cardaconsultants.com/ For Access Tips and Examples: http://www.devhut.net Please rate this post using the vote buttons if it was helpful. The three most common performance problems in Access 2000 or newer a - LDB locking which a persistent recordset connection or an always open bound form corrects (multiple users) - sub datasheet Name property set to [Auto] should be [None] - Track name AutoCorrect should be off If the problem is for everyone when starting up the MDB then it likely needs a decompile.
