I didn't specify in this post, because I have posted 2 other times. Please help! Greg seems to have the same problem, and he has posted before, too. I keep watching for some advice -- it's been a couple of months.

Shortcuts as in the Shortcuts navigation pane? Folders in another user's
mailbox that you've added to your profile?

Every few days when I click on my created shortcuts, the shortcut just

disappears. I recreate the shortcuts and they work OK for a day or two and
then just disappear again when I click on them. It seems to happen only on
shortcuts to another user's shared folder on the Exchange Server 2003. We
are using Outlook 2003. This has happened on both computers that I have
OL03, Exch03, and shared folders.

I've been having this exact same problem - shortcuts to
another users folders, after being added to the shortcut
pane, disappear randomly and have to be re-added. The
other users' folders are still visible and accessible in
the Folder List view. The computer is brand new -
Windows XP Pro, PIV 2.8 Ghz, 512 MB RAM. It was happening
on an old PIII 500 Mhz system with W2K, too. Any help
would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Yes Sue. You've got it. Do you have ANY idea what is causing this?

I renamed the file, and so far, so good. Thanks, Ralph.

The "username.fav" file is not used at all by Outlook 2003. It was used by previous versions. I have deleted that file altogether and still have the shortcuts disappear. Outlook 2003 uses the file "username.xml" for it's Navigation Pane which includes the shortcuts. I have renamed that file, recreated my shared folder shortcuts, and still they disappear. Still waiting for someone to come up with a solution. Microsoft should reward whoever comes up with the solution.

I guess you're right, Greg, because it just happened again.
