Default How to make OE ask for a password?

Go to Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Servers for the particular
account and uncheck the box that says remember password and erase anything
in the password box.

Thanks Steve Cochran for replying.
I meant the main certificate in the file menu, certificate management, in
main certificate properties by the account. I have a Russian interface and
write my translation to English from Russian. There is not an obvious
translation for the item.
Best regards,
Dima

Make sure you exit OE by using File | Exit and Logoff Identity. Don't use
the Red X or OE remembers that you are logged in.

Thanks Frank Saunders for your direction.
The File | Exit and Logoff Identity is unavailable, grayed out. How to use
it?

See:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/196518/en-us
"OLEXP: Outlook Express Does Not Prompt You for an Identity"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209169/EN-US/
"OLEXP: How to create and use identities in Outlook Express 5.x and 6.0"
"... NOTE: If you do not log off from your current identity before you quit
Outlook Express, you may not be able to log on by using a different
identity. In addition, other people may be able to start Outlook Express by
using your identity, even if you set a password for your identity. To work
around this issue, log off from the current identity before you quit Outlook
Express.
To log off from the current identity: 1. On the File menu, click Switch
Identity.
2. Verify that the current identity is selected, click Log Off Identity, and
then click Yes.
After you perform these steps, the next time that you start Outlook Express
you are prompted to select an identity..."

And:
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/tips/forceid.htm
"Force Identity Logon".

Hope this helps.

Create another identity. You don't even have to open it up. The presence
of another identity enables that choice.
