Can I assign a text style to a table style?
Here is a trick for new tables:
Before inserting a table assign your table text style to a paragraph where you placed you cursor for inserting a new table; and then insert table, assign table style (make sure you don’t define font characteristics when creating table style so it can use the defaults) "Shauna Kelly" wrote: Hi Mary I think the short answer is no. I, too, would prefer to define a table style in terms of paragraph styles. But it can't be done. Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly. I am not finding that option. Right now, I am inserting a table, then applying my table style, then applying the text style. Can I make this just one step? -- Thanks! Mary Lee |
