Default Save document's format when embedding tables

I am inserting MSAccess data (linked) to a Word Document. I format the table
and save the document. I turn off the Autofit options and center the table in
the document.
My problem is that when the field data is updated, the table shifts to the
left side of the document. I can't seem to keep it centered. I have even
tried to protect the document - Forms - but when I enter and save a password,
the table immediately shifts to the left. I have also tried to resize the
table to fit the document width, but the Auto-Formatting changes the table to
AutoFit - even with this option turned off using the Field Codes.
How can I get my document to look the same after updating as it does before
updateing???
