Publisher is not a good tool for making complex logos.

I might suggest a tool such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, or Microsoft
Acrylic for this purpose, although none are easy to use.

Is Publisher your only draw program? What product are you trying to highlight?
You can make a logo right online
http://cooltext.com/
http://www.aaa-logo.com/ This is a free download trial program.

Once again, Serif rides to the rescue! A little old but still fairly
strong and easy to use program - DrawPlus. It's free from:

Nah, Vector programs should be used for logos. I always strongly discourage
people from using raster programs for logos, and they always ignore me. And
then ask me why their logo is pixellated.

Hooked on vector...I've been using Xara..very nice easy too.

Also been messin' with Acrylic for the past few weeks...that's gonna be good
when it comes out - vector & raster and you can switch back and forth really
cool.
