Default Import Excel spreadsheet

Hello,
I've been trying to import an Excel spreadsheet and I keep
getting the message that there is no data in the
spreadsheet. I think that's because the is a field with
more than 255 characters.

Is there a way to import data with fields larger than 255
characters?

Thanks in advance,
Ellen

Yes. Import the field as a Memo field in Access.

If it doesn't work, you can still save the excel file as
a text file (.txt) and import the text file into access.
You can specific how you want to import the field into
access by clicking the advance button in the import
wizard.
