Table Fields
I am trying to save a table in design view but get the
message "too many fields defined" if I try and close the table down. This is then followed by the message "Errors were encountered during the save operation. Data types were not changed.Properties were not updated." Is there a limit to the number of fields allowed? |

Table Fields
255 is the limit but if you have added and deleted fields, you will need to
compact the database. More than about 25 fields generally too many for a properly normalized database. -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP "GAV" wrote in message ...
