Default how do i send a vcard attachment when i am replying to an email

everytime i attach a vcard to a reply email the receipient only gets there
name. can someone help please? thanks!

What are you actually attaching? A vCard .vcf file saved to your hard drive?
Or an inserted Outlook contact item? They are *not* the same thing.
