Default publisher 2000 to 2003 websites

I've been using MS Publisher since 1997, and am currently using 2000, on
a Win 98se machine.

I'm considering upgrading to 2003, but I'm concerned that 2003 will have
the same ease of use as 2000 for websites.

My wife produces a website using 2000 and it works very well for her.
The site has over 20 pages and views well on all browsers.

If I upgrade her computer to Publisher 2003, will there be many changes
in how well it works for her?

I realize this is a pretty broad question, but if any of you folks have
direct experience with Publisher's web authoring tools and upgrades, I'd
be happy to hear from you.

Yes, I know, we should use FP, or Dreamweaver, but she's not gonna do
that. She knows Publisher and is happy with it. If you want to try to
change her mind, you are welcome to try.

Thanks

No point in investing in Publisher 2003 unless you upgrade to Windows XP.
Publisher 2003 is far superior to 2000.
There are a lot of articles available that may help you in your decision.

Stay away. Too many problems that MS needs to address. If you have
something that works, stick with it. The hassle is not worth it! Many
people are going away from Publisher 2003 due to various problems, much
easier to just to stay away in the first place.

In deference to what Mary said, most seem to feel that Publisher 2003 is
superior for print publications, but it seems clear that Pub 2000 is
superior for websites. Among other things the HTML is cleaner, loads more
quickly and works on most browsers, while 2003 was designed for IE. If you
ever do decide to upgrade to XP and Pub 2003, you can have both versions
installed on your computer in different folders. Might make things happier
at home...

As to switching to FP or Dreamweaver, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Thanks guys,

I appreciate all your good advice. One day I'll upgrade to win xp, when
I upgrade the hardware and then we'll see about 2003.

Thanks again
