placing a photo in a cell
I have Office Excel 2007 and would like to place a jpeg in a cell. I wish to
create a program to keep my photo's of my quilt blocks in order as I add to them. I would be adding on a random basis and wish to keep them in alphabetical order. Thank you. |

placing a photo in a cell
Hi Earleen,
This is a discussion group for Access, a different part of MS Office from Excel. Be that as it is, I don't think you can place images inside cells in Excel. Only floating above them. But try posting in the microsoft.public.excel to find out. However, you may not need to use Excel at all. You can view your images in alpabetic order by going to your My Documents folder and then your My Pictures folder. If you create a separate folder for your quilt images and place them and only them all in that new folder, you can then change the view (View menu) to either Thumbnails or Filmstrip. If they are not sorted by name, also on the View menu you tell it to sort them on the "Arrange Icons By" submenu. Hope that helps, Clifford Bass "Earleen" wrote: I have Office Excel 2007 and would like to place a jpeg in a cell.
