Create table in ASP.net

I've created a way of replacing text in a word document from asp.net but how
do i add a table into the document using asp.net vb code?

I assume that you are using a Document Object in some way, and if that is
the case, then

[DocumentObject].Tables.Add Range:=Selection.Range, NumRows:=2,
NumColumns:=2
