e-Mail merge from Access database?
I have a database of club members in an access database and I would like to
send an e-mail to the ones who have an e-mail address. (Query for e-mail field not null) Is there a way to do this directly, in the manner of a printed mail merge in Word, or must I import the list into the contacts? And if I must do that is there a way to keep that list separate from the main contacts folder? Thanks, Dave |

e-Mail merge from Access database?
Not an Outlook question. Word can easily use an Access database as the
datasource for a merge to electronic mail. -- Russ Valentine "dclaxon" wrote in message ... e-Mail merge from Access database?
Russ,
Thanks for the tip, I just figured it out myself a few minutes ago. I have done mail merges with Word and Access many times before, I just hadn't realized Word would also do e-mail. Word will invoke Outlook for the transport, but does not have to use it for
the data source. -- Russ Valentine "dclaxon" wrote in message ... Russ, Thanks for the tip, I just figured it out myself a few minutes ago.
