Default Importing IM addresses from Excel

Hello - I am using Outlook & Excel 2003 version for both.

I want to import from Excel into Contacts only two columns into Outlook -
Full Name and IM address. I tried and only the full name came over - its like
the IM address disappeared. Then I tried name, email address and IM - only
the name and email address appear - what did I do wrong?

The Excel file is saved as a ".csv" file.

Thanks, Anna Marie

The IM field is not included in the fields Outlook exports so it can't be
imported.
