That would depend on your Outlook version which you should never fail to
mention when you ask a question. In my my version it is in Tools Options Preferences Email Options Advanced Email Options Select "Automatic Name checking" -- Russ Valentine "violetpilot" wrote in message ... Ah, you must be referring to the incomplete Mailing address "Check Address" dialog box when creating a new contact. I don't know how to access this from Outlook UI, but here is a sequence of steps involving a keyboard shortcut. 1. Start entering a new contact with incomplete address 2. Press Alt-D 3.
