Default Can't get clip art anymore-Publisher 2003

Just since yesterday I haven't been able to get any clipart. Instead I get
"dglxasset" where the clip normally is. Before yesterday it was all OK, but I
defrag'd my computer and since then I've had this problem. I have searched
this forum (and others) and tried the suggestions, but they don't work. I'm
thinking the clipart file might be corrupt but don't know how to fix it. I've
been trying to fix it for more than 7 hours and it's really annoying me...

From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Delete Browsing History.

Internet Explorer 8
From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History... .
Check Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History, and then click Delete.
Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files... .
Click Close, and then click OK to exit.

I have already done this, after reading it on other posts but it hasn't
helped. I've also tried to rename the Mstore10.mgc file to Mstore10.old and
for some reason when I tried to do it it just creates another file with the
new extension ....
Is there anything else I should do?

The very reason you rename Mstore10.mgc is so the Organizer will create a new
catalog file the next time you open the Organizer.

I understand there has been an update to the ActiveX control. Be certain it is
enabled.

Downloading clips, templates, and training with the ActiveX control
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/he...349411033.aspx

It might help to compact the Organizer, Start, Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft
Clip Organizer. When the Organizer opens, Tools, compact. There is also a detect
and repair.

Thanks Mary, I can only figure that I must be doing something wrong...
Do I need to delete the Mstore10.mgc file now that I have a new catalog file
(Mstore10.old)??
I've checked the ActiveX control and it is enabled. Not too sure if it's the
updated one though.
I've also compacted the Clip Organizer and have run the detect and repair
tool. In desperation I even reinstalled Publisher 2003, which didn't fix the
problem.

Vickie, Move your temporary folder, it doesn't matter where, a new one will be
created. The *move folder* is in Internet Explorer, Browsing History, Settings
button. See if that is the solution.

Can you open the Organizer as a standalone by dragging the icon to the desktop?
Can you drag and drop images?

You might try installing the ActiveX control again.

Which temporary folder do you mean? The Mstore10.old folder??
I've installed ActiveX again, and I have the clip organizer on my desktop,
but can't drag and drop images into it. It won't allow it.

In Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, General tab, Browsing History,
Settings Button. There is a *Move Folder* on this screen. I have a graphic on my
web page that will show you where to look.

I didn't mean drop clipart onto the Organizer, I meant the other way around,
drag from the Organizer and drop onto your open application.

Nothing seems to be working. I think I must have done something wrong, and I
don't want to take up any more of your time, the support you've given has
been excellent.
The error code I get when I try to insert clipart (which is just a blank box
with "dglxasset..." on it) is: 0x80004005. Does this shed light on anything?
