A simple question
Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the .accdb file, and delete it there.

A simple question
If you want to save the db empty just go to the Navigation Pane (F11) and
delete every object you've created. hth -- Maurice Ausum "Jason Kyle" wrote: I have Access 2007,I'm trying to learn how to build simple Data bases,so I started one it doesn't look or works the way I wanted,I just want to delete the whole thing,I can delete, tables, forms but not the name of the data base itself. How can I delete the whole thing? thanx |

A simple question
I get your point now. I've tried just about everything but mys guess is it
can't be done a regular way. I'm also stuck with a lot of referencing databases which I no longer use. -- Maurice Ausum "Jason Kyle" wrote: Maurice wrote: If you want to save the db empty just go to the Navigation Pane (F11) and delete every object you've created. hth The names of the DBs still show up when I open the "office button" and the "the open recent database pane".You can imagine my dilemma,I have about twenty names all sitting there and I can't get rid of them. |

A simple question
To clear the "most recently used" list from ACCESS, go to Tools | Options |
General tab, and either uncheck the "Recently used files list" checkbox, or change the number in the combo box next to it to 0. Close ACCESS. Later, when you want to "turn this feature back on", reverse the action that you actually take. -- Ken Snell MS ACCESS MVP "Maurice" wrote in message ... I get your point now.
