Creating Custom Charts
Is there a charting software / ad in for PowerPoint which will give you total
control of all aspects of chart creation. We have been asked to create charts which seem out of the scope for PPT 2002, like controling bar thickness with data values, plus actual bar height with diffferent data values. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. THX! Fritz |

Hi Fritz, There are some options presented here, although not all that easy: MS Graph User-defined Custom Chart Types http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00278.htm No, it's not easy, but I have managed to write the code to plot 3 custom charts on a page. BUT..... There are some formatting issues I still need to resolve, and I have Googled my fingers to the bone with no success. When the charts are finished plotting, they are extremely distorted and out of proportion. If I left-click in the plot area, they will snap onto place properly. Does anyone know the code I need to add to make this transition with automatically? Many thanks for any help. |
