Pause in typing into text fields.
Hello,
I am getting a report from a client's users that they are getting a delay while typing text. They type and the text doesn't display, then suddenly it appears. There is also a pause sometimes, clicking from tab page to tab page. They each work from a local copy of an mde file. I have had this type of thing happen on web pages. I logon remotely through Terminal Services and even from the mdb file, I don't get this behavior. I had the same situation with another client this summer. They complained about a pause when typing into a particular field, but I couldn't recreate it. I also logged in to their server though Terminal Services. This makes me think it is a traffic issue on the network. Has anyone encountered this? Thank you for your input and God Bless, Mark A. Sam |

Pause in typing into text fields.
This is a classic sign of a slow network.
Are these users connecting remotely? If so, suggest they disconnect and reconnect. -- Dorian "Give someone a fish and they eat for a day; teach someone to fish and they eat for a lifetime". "Mark A.
