Cannot "Send to Mail recipient" from Word to OE

On my brand new desktop XP Pro SP1 I can no longer go to a Word document and send this doc embedded in an email by using the Send to Mail Recipient function in Word.

I don't know if this problem is related to another problem I am having in not being able to send messages effectively from OE at all. Newsgroup messages will send but will not save to Sent Items; individual messages will have to be attempted several times to send but will move to Sent Items. I get an error message involving socket error 12019, code 80004005.

Any ideas?

Nancy, I replied to your earlier post. For this problem, please post the
entire error message you are getting when trying to send. Disable your
Anti Virus application from scanning email and see if that helps.
