#Deleted# error in subform
When entering a new record in the subform and going to the next record, all
fields in the entered record display the #Deleted# message. However, upon closing and reopening the form, that record is found to be ok with all fields properly filled in. What would cause this? |

This is an .mdb project but the back end tables are stored in Oracle.

Are the tables stored in a SQL Server database? My guess is that it has something to do with the way the tables are set up in Oracle. I don't know much about Oracle, but with SQL Server, for example, this problem has been known to occur if there is no timestamp field in the back-end table. On the other hand, if you don't have the latest Jet service pack installed, it may be this problem: http://support.microsoft.com/default...roduct=acc2002 FIX: #DELETED Error When Inserting Records with CHAR Primary Key -- Dirk Goldgar, MS Access MVP www.datagnostics.com (please reply to the newsgroup) |
