Default Link From my database to passport on the intranet

Hello at my work place we have an intranet, I was wondering if it is possible to create a table stores the ID of a document. When the user goes to that document ID he will have the option to view it on passport by clinking on it. Its more or less a hyperlink within the database.
Regards
Graeme

I am not familiar with the term 'passport' but Access has field type
'HyperLink' that can open the document when you click.
