Troubles with Outlook after Windows Update
Thank you so much. Reset nav pane worked straight away and now my outlook is
back to working. Thanks again!!! "Slipstick" wrote: Jim D;58821 Wrote: I am having the exact same problem following an automatic windows update. I tried doing a restore and that did not help. When I try to start outlook in safe mode using run outlook.exe/safe I get a message saying that it is not found. I am at a loss. Please help you need to add a space between outlook and /safe. however, /safe won't fix it. To fix it you need to delete the xml file that sets the navigation pane - so at start menu, run, type outlook.exe /resetnavpane -- Slipstick 'Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center' (http://www.slipstick.com) 'Outlook Tips' (http://www.outlook-tips.net/) http://forums.slipstick.com/ |
