Default how to fade audio tracks....

HELP! I know how to add sound clips and music to my
powerpoint presentation, but I can't figure out how to
make any type of audio "fade" out, instead of just
stopping. Can anybody help??! Thanks!

PowerPoint doesn't have that functionality built in. You can, however, use
sound editing software to fade the ending and then insert the edited file in
PowerPoint. I use Sound Forge by Sonic Foundry, but you can find less
expensive products by using google.com to search.

I use AudioSurgeon by Voyetra. Do a Google to find it -- I downloaded it. I can't remember the price but it was probably around $50. Works great. In addition to fading, it lets you add and delete sections of audio, and converts between formats.
