How wide is the report (i.e.: the Width property of the Report object). If
it's greater than 7 1/2" (assuming your paper is 8 1/2" wide), you need to make it narrower. -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no e-mails, please!) That implies you've got something (possibly a line) that extends too far to
the right. -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no e-mails, please!) Is there anything in the Detail section associated with that header?

I cant get my report to fit on one page
Presumably you've got
Header 1 detail for header 1 detail for header 1 detail for header 1 Header 2 detail for header 2 detail for header 2 Header 3 and so on. Is there a detail section associated with the empty header? If so, that implies that there are rows with blank for whatever field(s) make up the header. -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no e-mails, please!) I cant get my report to fit on one page
my report headings dont print except on the first page, there is no detail
under that first header... i tried to put in a page break where one of the headers was but it was sloppy, i mean it worked sorta, i found the page break descriptions in reports in access almost incomprehensible What I got was this: Page heading Header 1 No Detail Header 2 (on new page when i inserted a page break here) NO PAGE HEADING Detail Detail Detail Header 3 (on new page when i inserted a page break here) NO PAGE HEADING Detail Detail really appreciate your help here robert "Douglas J.
