linking excel data into a powerpoint table
Hi. I regularly have to churn out long powerpoint presentations in a
very short time span after I receive data. The data comes in Excel in a very predictable format, so linking chart datasheets to Excel files is very useful. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to link Excel data into Powerpoint tables. I don't want to do the standard paste link because I want the table to be a Powerpoint object, not an Excel object (this difference is the same as the difference between having an Excel chart linked to on on Powerpoint slide, or having the datasheet of the Powerpoint chart link to the Excel worksheet -- the latter is much better for what I need). Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks! Taren |
