Displaying colors
I just got a new laptop a few weeks ago and am having a display problem in
Excel. The problem is with colors, colored text, etc. I have opened an Excel workbook that I created earlier, also with Excel 2003 where I used the paint bucket to create colored patterns. When I open the workbook none of the colors are displayed, it is just white. I can copy the area where I know I put the colors and paste it into a word document, and then the colors show up in the word document, they just dont display on-screen in Excel. I don't know that this is a problem with Excel, it may be a setting in the Windows environment, but I thought I would try this newsgroup also, since I haven't heard anything from the windows newsgroup. |

Displaying colors
Bob,
Thanks a lot, your a great help. That fixed it all, Excel, internet explorer, everything else I wasn't aware of. I've had this problem for over a month and finally it's fixed. You're a life saver. I would have never found this on my own kris "Bob Phillips" wrote: See if this helps http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=833258 The fill color, the fill pattern, or the line color of a WordArt or AutoShape object in an Office document does not change -- --- HTH Bob (change the xxxx to gmail if mailing direct) "Kris" wrote in message ...
